My Yarn Stash
I mainly shop at a few different stores like Joann's, Micheal's, Hobby Lobby, Amazon and MaryMaxim. The main kind of yarn I use is 100% cotton. I use it to make dishcloths, scrubbies, hot pads, and towel ring holders. I tend to pick colors matching the season so for example now I am getting spring colors. Purple, pink, blue, and yellow.

Where I work
During the week before my shift, I will go to Starbucks enjoying my coffee and relaxing while crocheting to my heart's content. I enjoy doing this so I am out in public and able to interact with people. I will also crochet in my car or at home.
Finding Inspiration
How do I come up with making these items? I may come up with I should make this...I then jump onto YouTube and watch a few different videos to get an idea of how to make the item. I then make the item a few times and make changes when needed. I have been crocheting on and off for 8 years so I have a solid foundation.
For example, the image above is a bookmark cross that I had the idea while at Starbucks to make so I YouTube "crochet cross bookmarks" and clicked a video and followed it to create 50 crossed for a Christ Renews His Parish weekend I was part of. When I told all the women that I made the bookmarks they were very impressed. It made me happy that the women were happy. The gift of giving.
